Top Notch Sportfishing Reports

We set out on Sunday looking to run over to the bridge and try to catch some bluefish and stripers on light tackle. We casted for about an hour and caught a striper that wasnt quite big enough to keep and a few bluefish before the current stopped running. The next plan was to set up and drum fish on the shoals. We were fishing with clams and crabs but never got the right bite. The only runs were critter bites I think. After a couple hours we ran back to do some casting but the current never picked up and neither did the fishing. Thanks guys we enjoyed it.
